YouTube has completely rewritten the filtering system, adding in several new filtering options to get to the video you want to see.
The recent updates to what used to be “Search Options” is changed to “Filter & Explore”
YouTube has expanded the functionality of the search options in order to explore new YouTube topics on search.
The main changes you see are:
1. Easy accessing, the most used search options from before, the sort options, are available at the top right, below sign in/sign out, in a section called “Sort by”.
2. Easily switching to new topics or add topics to the current search by clicking on a topic listed under the Explore options or the + sign next to a topic on hover.
3. If there is no Topic to display, the section will be called ‘Filter’ with the restrict tools.
4. Most of the earlier search restricts (channel, movie, shows, HD, etc) are now available under ‘Filter’.
